We met my mom and dad and brother and sister up at their campsite for some non-camping fun this year. It was a gorgeous day and we had a yummy breakfast followed by some exploring and sitting by the stream, collecting rocks of course:)

Camping at Donner Lake, June 2010. Maysie was big enough this year to actually have some fun on our camping trip. She enjoyed sitting in the dirt, going for walks, collecting rocks and sticks and pinecones (and NOT eating them, YAY!) We took our trailer this year wich proved to be a mistake since Maysie refused to sleep in her portacrib, in her defense, it was extremely cold! So all three of us and the dog piled into the twin-sized-only-shorter bed and now I know what a sardine feels like. Mark had a cold and was finally feeling better by the ride home. But Maysie had fun and we'll look back on it someday as a fun family experience (not sure I'm there yet) Hopefully next year will be better:)

Happy Birthday to our sweet little Maysie! We celebrated Maysie's 2nd Birthday with a fun barnyard themed party. It was laods of fun with a farmyard cake and a cow pinata that was almost too cute to whack at, a hayride , animal hat making, face painting, and lots of fun with family!
